Terms of Service
Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Clone Cut, an independently operated browser-based AI creative platform available at https://www.clonecut.org. The Service provides AI image generation and, where available, text-to-video and image-to-video tools. By accessing or using Clone Cut, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
Effective Date: 2026.08.21
Use of the Service
Clone Cut allows users to submit text prompts and permitted reference media to generate, edit, enhance, restore, or animate visual content. Available models, input types, output formats, resolutions, processing times, and features may vary by tool, plan, region, and third-party provider. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Independent Operation and Third-Party Technology
Clone Cut is independently developed and operated. It is not an official product of, or managed or endorsed by, any third-party AI model provider. References to third-party companies, products, or model names identify technologies or compatibility only and do not imply affiliation, authorization, or ownership.
Some requests may be processed using third-party AI infrastructure or models. Third-party models, trademarks, and related intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. Model availability and routing may change as providers update their services.

- Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
Content and Intellectual Property
- Your Content: You retain ownership of permitted prompts and reference media you submit. You grant Clone Cut a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service, troubleshoot requests, enforce these Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs and ensuring that your use does not infringe another person's rights.

Content Standards and Prohibited Categories
You must not use Clone Cut to request, create, upload, distribute, or promote illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or rights-infringing content. The following categories are expressly prohibited:
- Pornography and NSFW content, including sexually explicit material, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, or sexualized depictions of real people.
- Violence and gore, including graphic violence, glorification of serious physical harm, credible threats, or instructions that facilitate violent wrongdoing.
- Hate speech, including content that promotes hatred, discrimination, dehumanization, harassment, or violence against a protected person or group.
- Child-unsafe content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, or any exploitative or endangering depiction of a minor. Clone Cut applies zero tolerance to this category.
- Deepfakes and impersonation, including deceptive or non-consensual depictions of real people, misleading identity impersonation, fraud, or content intended to harass or damage another person.
- Copyright or trademark infringement, including unauthorized use or imitation of protected works, brands, characters, logos, likenesses, publicity rights, or other intellectual property.
You also must not:
- Promote or facilitate terrorism, extremism, trafficking, exploitation, scams, spam, or other criminal conduct.
- Create materially deceptive content or misinformation intended to cause harm.
- Violate privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other third-party rights.
- Present AI-generated content as authentic documentary or human-created material when doing so would mislead others or cause harm.
- Submit jailbreak prompts or attempt to evade, disable, or bypass safety controls, content filters, rate limits, credit limits, or payment systems.
- Reverse engineer, extract, copy, resell, or redistribute platform software, models, or services without authorization.
- Interfere with the security, integrity, availability, or performance of the Service, or use automation to abuse the Service or create excessive requests.
Content Moderation and Platform Review
Clone Cut uses a multi-layer moderation process designed to prevent and address violations:
- Automated input review: Prompts, uploads, and generation requests may be checked using keyword, pattern, semantic, intent, provider, or other safety filters before processing.
- Automated output review: Generated images or videos may be evaluated by platform or provider-operated safety and NSFW detection systems. Potentially unsafe content may be blocked, withheld, or removed.
- Usage-pattern monitoring: We may review repeated blocked requests, unusual generation activity, suspected filter evasion, and other abuse signals.
- Human review: Content or accounts flagged by automated systems or reported by users may be reviewed manually. Review may consider prompts, uploaded media, outputs, context, account history, and applicable law.
- Ongoing review: We may update our standards, filters, and procedures as technologies, risks, and legal requirements change.
No moderation system is perfect. Users remain responsible for their prompts, uploads, generated content, and any use or distribution of outputs.
User Reporting and Appeals
If you encounter content or activity that may violate these Terms, report it to support@clonecut.org. Include the relevant URL or generation identifier, a description of the concern, and supporting information that can help us investigate. Do not email or redistribute illegal imagery; provide only the information necessary to identify it.
Reports are reviewed according to their nature, severity, available evidence, and potential risk. Child-safety matters, credible threats, and other serious illegal-content reports are prioritized. Where appropriate, we may preserve relevant records and cooperate with service providers, rights holders, payment partners, or lawful authorities.
If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, you may appeal through the same email address. Include your account email, the relevant decision or content identifier, and the reason for your appeal. An appeal does not guarantee reversal.
Enforcement Actions
Depending on the severity, frequency, context, and legal implications of a violation, Clone Cut may take one or more of the following actions:
- Warning: Notify the user and require the violating activity to stop or be corrected.
- Content blocking or removal: Reject a request, withhold an output, or remove content that violates these Terms.
- Feature or account restriction: Reduce generation limits or restrict access to models, tools, downloads, or other features.
- Temporary suspension: Suspend an account or Service access while a matter is reviewed or remediated.
- Permanent termination: Permanently close an account for critical, repeated, deliberate, or unresolved violations.
- Legal or safety referral: Preserve records, report conduct to appropriate authorities or relevant organizations, and cooperate with lawful investigations where required or reasonably necessary.
We may act immediately and without prior warning for critical violations, including CSAM, credible threats, terrorism, non-consensual intimate imagery, serious fraud, or attempts to evade safety controls. Less severe first-time violations may receive a warning, while repeated violations may result in progressively stronger restrictions.
Privacy and Data Collection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy and understand that information may be processed in locations where privacy laws differ from those in your jurisdiction.

- Failed generation requests may be reviewed for an automatic or manual credit refund according to the applicable tool rules.
Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create safety or security risks, abuse the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees. Stored projects may be deleted after account termination, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You may cancel a subscription through the available billing controls or by contacting support.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that generated results will meet every expectation. Results depend on user inputs, selected tools, third-party providers, and technical conditions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clone Cut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or unauthorized use of generated content arising from use of the Service. Aggregate liability will not exceed the fees paid to us during the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Clone Cut harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from content you submit or distribute, your use of generated outputs, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
